Her Interview

Ten minutes with Alex

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to having the autonomy to think differently, try new things, and be a strategic voice. Strong mentorship has been key, along with having a good leader to help drive my career. I believe you are the driver of your career, so networking, vocalizing needs, and having confidence are crucial. The autonomy to provide different perspectives has allowed me to make an impact in every role.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The rise of artificial intelligence and automation is both a challenge and opportunity. We need to drive adoption in a legal and safe manner, train employees to use it competently, stay compliant without being too risk-averse, and manage the mindset shift that it's not replacing jobs but making them easier and more strategic. Change management at a global scale across 70 countries is key.
