About Alexa
Alexa is a journalism and communications student at San Diego State University with a strong passion for sports media, storytelling, and digital content. She has hands-on experience in sports coaching, media production, customer service, and campus programming, including producing content for SDSU’s Black Resource Center. Through her Sports Report project, she developed skills in interviewing athletes, covering live games, video production, editing, and social media strategy. Her background in volleyball as both a player and coach has also strengthened her leadership, communication, teamwork, and mentoring abilities.
