Alexa Crews, is a Studio Manager at NakedMD in Fort Worth, Texas, bringing together extensive experience in hospitality, medical aesthetics, and business operations. With 12–13 years in hospitality and five years in the med-spa industry, she has developed a strong background in customer service, team leadership, studio management, and client experience. Her career reflects a consistent focus on creating welcoming environments while maintaining efficient and high-quality operations. These roles have strengthened her ability to lead teams, optimize workflows, and deliver attentive service across both hospitality and healthcare-related environments. Lex also brings an entrepreneurial perspective to her professional journey through Lux, Luxury in Motion, an athleisure and activewear venture inspired by her background as a former track athlete. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from MiraCosta College and approaches her work with an emphasis on compassion, integrity, empowerment, and continuous improvement. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to passion, perseverance, strong customer service, leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement. I constantly challenge myself to perform better than I did before, while focusing on how I treat and connect with clients through attentive listening, compassion, and personalized service. Building Lux—Luxury in Motion has allowed me to bring together my business experience, marketing knowledge, athletic background, and passion for wellness while turning a long-held dream into reality.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to always strive for excellence. I focus on continuous improvement rather than perfection, learning from every experience and finding ways to perform better the next time. I also believe strong leadership means encouraging, uplifting, and empowering others, because success is more meaningful when the entire team has opportunities to grow.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to stay passionate, curious, and committed to continuous improvement. Set goals that challenge you and keep raising your own standards, while remaining open to unexpected opportunities and having the courage to step outside your comfort zone. Most importantly, lead with integrity and compassion, build meaningful relationships, support your team, and remember that ambition and kindness can go hand in hand.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I believe the aesthetics and wellness industry offers tremendous opportunities while also facing higher customer expectations and increasingly informed consumers. Professionals must balance innovation and personalization with education, responsible product development, and strong clinical partnerships. The growing connection between beauty, fitness, wellness, and lifestyle also creates exciting opportunities to build brands that support the whole person.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, compassion, authenticity, excellence, leadership, and continuous growth. I believe success is about more than achieving goals—it is about making people feel valued, listening to their needs, and building genuine relationships. I strive to lead with kindness, empower others, provide thoughtful service, and continually improve while maintaining balance and prioritizing self-care.
