Her Story

About Alexa

I am currently a Customer Success Manager at Baker Tilly, where I focus on driving client satisfaction across accounting, finance, and tax services while identifying growth opportunities through cross-selling and upselling. Prior to joining Baker Tilly, I spent three years at Dell Technologies, as an Account Executive. Throughout my career, I’ve served as a trusted resource for clients, connecting them with the right people and solutions to maximize value and strengthen long-term partnerships. I’m passionate about relationship building, problem-solving, and continuing to grow as a leader.

Ten minutes with Alexa

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute much of my success to the discipline, resilience, and goal-oriented mindset I developed through athletics. Equally influential have been the examples set by my father and the exceptional leaders I have encountered throughout my career, whose commitment to excellence, integrity, and leadership continue to inspire my professional growth and ambition. Above all, my faith serves as the foundation for how I approach both life and work. It shapes my values, guides my decision-making, and reminds me that any success I achieve is ultimately a result of God’s grace and the opportunities He has provided.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Earn respect through consistent excellent results, and rise above misjudgments with grace, professionalism, and unwavering confidence.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

One piece of advice that was given to me and I would like to echo to other young women is that, in a traditionally male-dominated industry, some people may underestimate you before they’ve had the opportunity to see what you’re capable of. Rather than allowing that to become a distraction, I was encouraged to focus on consistently delivering results, demonstrating competence, and letting my work speak for itself. I’ve found that the most effective way to challenge assumptions is through performance, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Fragmented data and disconnected tools across multiple platforms remain a key challenge in Customer Success; however, this also represents a significant opportunity for innovation, particularly in building more integrated, technology-driven solutions that unify the customer view and improve decision-making.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My Christian faith is the cornerstone of my values and influences how I show up in both my personal and professional life, with integrity and purpose.
