Alexa Prus is a financial services professional specializing in client relationship management, portfolio reporting, and impact investing. As Client Relations Manager at Community Capital Management, LLC, she serves as the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing day-to-day communications, portfolio reporting, onboarding, and operational support for an asset management firm managing more than $7.5 billion in assets. Her commitment to delivering exceptional client service, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring seamless collaboration across investment, sales, and operations teams has established her as a trusted partner to clients and colleagues alike.
Alexa's career reflects a diverse background in banking, financial publishing, and investment management. She began her professional journey as a Loan Officer Assistant before transitioning into sales and business development with Financial Advisor Magazine, where she earned promotions that demonstrated her leadership and business development capabilities. She later joined Community Capital Management as a Business Development Associate and, through her strong performance and dedication, advanced to her current role as Client Relations Manager. Her educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from Monmouth University, complemented by Bloomberg Terminal certification and the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) credential.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in your abilities and don't be afraid to pursue opportunities that challenge you. Growth happens outside your comfort zone. Ask a lot of questions, seek out mentors, stay confident, and remember you bring value. Don't be afraid to take chances even if you don't feel completely ready.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Financial services is male-dominated but women in the workforce are growing, especially in impact space with women advocating for each other. Balancing multiple priorities while delivering exceptional client service requires strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
