About Alexa
Alexa Quain is a sales professional based in South Florida with about four years of experience in the field. Originally from Michigan, she moved to the area seeking opportunities with businesses and business owners, which led her to her current role in outside sales and technology sales at Venture HR, where she has been for four months. She previously worked at ADP. Quain studied sales in college through a role-play based program ranked among the top 50 in the country, with no written exams, only sales scenarios practiced with professors. Her expertise lies in full lifecycle sales, including cold calling, setting and running meetings from beginning to end, and closing sales, as well as prospecting. She often conducts multi-touch campaigns involving calls, emails, and drop-ins to reach decision makers. Quain exceeded her monthly quota by 200 percent. She attributes her drive to wanting a stable career to provide for herself and her future family, inspired by her father who has been in sales for 45 years and the lifestyle it provided. She values honesty, consistency, and authenticity above all. The best career advice she has received is to not dwell on something for too long because tomorrow is a new day, and she advises young women entering sales to be consistent by committing to daily activities toward their goals. In college she was a member of Delta Zeta sorority, and she had a mentor in professor Jim Eckert whose teachings she applies daily.
