The best career advice I’ve ever received is to look at every problem from different angles, figure out the best path forward, and if all else fails, never hesitate to ask questions.

I would tell young women entering the industry to truly know who you are and understand your why—because while the work is hard, if you give 100% and persevere, you will succeed.

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is simply getting the documents I need in order to complete the work accurately and on time.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are peace, quiet, respect, and staying focused, while always ensuring my family has everything they need—and I keep myself grounded by embracing my adventurous side, whether I’m camping anywhere I can, off-roading in my Jeep, or reconnecting with nature to clear my mind.
