Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the support and guidance of both mentors and family who modeled the importance of balance. They helped me understand that growth doesn't have to come at the expense of well-being—and that sustainable success is built by showing up consistently, both in work and in life.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to remember that I know myself and my subject matter better than anyone else. That mindset has helped me trust my expertise, speak with confidence, and stay grounded even in high-pressure situations.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to always remember that you are worthy. Never forget who you are, where you come from, and the values that ground you. Stay focused on where you’re headed and confident in who you’re becoming—because your voice, perspective, and presence matter more than you know.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is gaining the support and buy-in of local ministries, especially in areas where infrastructure may be limited. Building strong partnerships at the community level is essential for creating lasting impact, but it requires trust, collaboration, and a deep understanding of local needs and systems.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are humility, acceptance, and tolerance. I believe in showing up with compassion and openness, while also prioritizing self-care and maintaining confidence in who I am. These values help me stay grounded, lead with integrity, and navigate challenges with clarity and purpose.
