About Alexandra
Alexandra Pompei is the founder of Alyena Legacy, a consulting firm established in November 2024 that helps startups build strong go-to-market strategies, brand identities, sales frameworks, and customer onboarding systems, while also guiding founders through investment and personal asset decisions so they can stay focused on growing their businesses. With more than two decades of experience across Compaq, HP, and Microsoft, she has led enterprise sales, marketing, and partner strategy initiatives spanning Brazil, Latin America, and global markets, ultimately overseeing more than $2 billion in partner-influenced pipeline during her final years at Microsoft. Her career reflects a consistent throughline: turning complex, large-scale operations into structured systems that connect sales, marketing, and partnerships around a shared growth strategy.
Before stepping into consulting, Pompei built her foundation in finance in Brazil and later transitioned into technology at Compaq, where she established a direct sales organization from the ground up. That operational grounding carried her through nearly two decades at Microsoft, where she held a series of increasingly senior roles — from partner business management to global go-to-market strategy direction — onboarding hundreds of partners, managing multimillion-dollar marketing budgets, and driving significant year-over-year revenue growth through partner enablement and AI-driven workflow improvements. Her academic background, including graduate studies at Kellogg School of Management, Cornell, Georgetown, and FGV, along with an MBA and specialized training in Six Sigma and AI strategy, has reinforced the analytical rigor behind her approach to enterprise growth.
Beyond her client work, Pompei is committed to expanding opportunities for women in business and technology. She mentors young women through STEAM-focused programs and partners with organizations such as ESPA, Digi Gales, and HISPA to widen the path for the next generation entering the industry. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she continues to advise SaaS, cloud, and AI-driven organizations on modernizing their go-to-market operations, drawing on a career built on the belief that lasting business success comes from intention, structure, and clear strategic vision.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to stay open to learning new things and to never shut down opportunities that come their way. Self-confidence is essential — you are not less than anyone else in the room. Don't be afraid to bring your full self to the table. When navigating male-dominated spaces, know your value and the impact you bring.
