Her Story

About Alexandra

As Founder of EverLearn Education, my day is all about collaboration and developing a team, making sure that each role has someone that can drive that initiative, whether it's marketing, operations, or finding good instructors. We are in a very relationship-driven field, so having that rapport with my team is really important to me. My day often starts early with meetings and a lot of emails, but I also schedule time to just create, whether that's creating ideas of what's coming next or just dreaming about where we see EverLearn growing and becoming. After that, it's probably meetings, whether with the team, a team meeting, or just individual check-in meetings with people. We specialize in Spanish-speaking services because there was a big need, and as someone who grew up as a first-generation student, I know the barriers, so education is super important to me because I know the values. Most of our work is in Spanish, and most of our team is bilingual. I wanted to make this as accessible as possible and drive the impact further, because in early childhood, if you're new to the field, a lot of the qualifications are really minimal, which shouldn't be the case. I wanted to ensure that whoever did enter the field did have a pathway to continue learning about child development, because it's so important.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would acknowledge that it is incredibly hard, it could be incredibly challenging, stressful, and overwhelming, and yet her role and her impact matters for those early years and for her own personal growth. That's why we're also trying to find spaces for them to grow and to have community, because we know how isolating the field can be, and sometimes invalidating. So I think that's what I would tell her: as hard as it may be, and overwhelming, your impact truly, truly matters, and we see you, and we're here for you.
