Ten minutes with Alexandra

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

To just kind of like be helpful, be a sponge, and like really like network and get to know people, and you know the people that help you along the way like make sure to pay it forward and like help out as much as you can with what little time you have on your hands.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

It really is like the business of who you know and making sure that you make the relationships and like never burn a bridge because you never know. The industry is a really tiny industry so making sure that you're doing good work. The biggest barrier to entry is so many people want to be a part of the industry and it's really difficult to kind of get your foot in the door.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Definitely ethics and like making sure that you're doing things the right way and like following the laws and procedures of whatever field that you're in and your reputation. Like that's something that you can never get back like you only get one reputation and so you know being a good attorney and making sure that you're putting out good work products and that people like you're somebody that people can rely on is really important.
