Her Interview
Ten minutes with Alexandra
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think I just contributed so much to kind of knowing where I've come from, and maybe how my life should have turned out. It just really pushes me to be the best version of myself, and just kind of set that example for my kids and set that example for everyone around me.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My boss is such a great mentor and she's always my biggest cheerleader. She says do what right looks like, and I feel like that has been the best way to lead is by example. Regardless of what position you're in, do what right looks like and everything else will kind of fall into place.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Learn as much as you can, be available, be open. As an executive assistant you wear so many hats and so many doors open for you for relationships. Constantly push yourself, learn new things, do what you can to get the most done in a day but make sure you're doing it well, finding that balance.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I'm really big with communication. Communicating and speaking up even if you don't know if you're right. I have a very big open door policy and appreciate the relationships with people professionally and personally. Communication, trust, and leading with intent.
