About Alexandria
Alexandria Burnell is a fashion and textile designer based in New York, NY. She has been working in her field since 2019 and recently began her role as Senior Designer at Mega Brands. In this position, she oversees and designs all licensed products, creating character designs for properties such as Peanuts and the Grinch for various stores and private labels. Burnell earned her bachelor's degree from a college in New York in 2015 and recently completed her MBA while working full time. Earlier in her career, she held design positions at smaller companies and corporate firms. She spent two years at John's Crazy Socks on Long Island, where she built wholesale brands and private programs. One of her proudest achievements was creating a small collection for the Special Olympics a few years ago. Burnell has expressed a passion for making an impact through her work and hopes to manage a team effectively in the future.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Knowing what you can bring to the table. As women, we're often put in the background and not shown that we can give our voices and make a difference. Expose ourselves and push ourselves more to the front of the line even though it's scary.
