Her Story

About Alexia

Alexia Rivera founded Lexi Business Studio to provide business consulting and administrative services, drawing from her observations of her mother in the fitness industry and her sister in the beauty industry struggling with organization and structure. Prior to launching her business on February 9th, Rivera earned a bachelor's degree in sports management with a business administration background from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. She gained experience through roles including a clerk position in Superior Court under an ARPA grant, selling insurance with Colonial Life, and serving as a independent representative for the fintech company Novae, where she assisted clients with financial decisions. Rivera credits her success to her resilience, which helped her overcome challenges, build confidence in her abilities, and establish boundaries to protect her peace and deliver her best work to clients.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Alexia

01What do you attribute your success to?

My resilience. I overcame a lot of things in my life. The first has been building my confidence and trusting myself enough to recognize that I really do have skills that can help businesses and learn to trust the results that I've been able to create for people. The second would be enforcing boundaries.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Just start. Put yourself out there, you're gonna get a couple of bruises, you're gonna face obstacles, but you're also gonna learn how to maneuver through them. Be okay with making mistakes. Be okay with not getting everything right the first time. You don't have to know everything before you begin. It's okay to give yourself grace. It's okay to pat yourself on the back.
