Ten minutes with Alexis
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the unwavering support and encouragement of my husband. He has been an incredible source of strength in my life, helping me through difficult times and encouraging me to become the best version of myself. His support has given me the confidence to continue growing, pursuing my goals, and moving forward through every journey.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to keep going, even when things feel uncertain or challenging. There will always be obstacles, but perseverance and faith that better opportunities are ahead can make all the difference. I have learned not to become discouraged by setbacks and to continue moving forward.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to never give up and keep pushing forward. Do not allow difficult days or challenges to define you. Believe in yourself, have confidence in your abilities, and remember that persistence can lead to incredible opportunities.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the insurance industry is helping people distinguish between companies that truly support their needs and those that create barriers to accessing necessary medication and care. I believe there is a tremendous opportunity to provide better support and resources for individuals. Organizations like Aflac help by offering benefits that provide financial assistance, including cash benefits and support with deductibles, helping people navigate unexpected expenses.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me are honesty, communication, strong family values, and always doing the right thing. These principles guide how I approach my relationships, my work, and the way I serve others.
