Her Interview
Ten minutes with Alexis
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to learning from my mistakes and understanding how to move forward even when uncomfortable. I am always about growth and pivoting when needed rather than staying in a role that does not serve me.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Stay open to learning, don't be afraid to make mistakes, and continue seeking opportunities for growth. Every experience provides valuable lessons that contribute to future success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be complacent or settle. Be patient and don't be afraid to ask questions or about growth opportunities. Network and take internship opportunities seriously while in college.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is growing from sales associate roles into higher leadership positions without years of experience already under your belt, as people want you to already have those qualifications.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Communication, flexibility, and character are most important. I value clear communication to avoid misunderstandings, being flexible and adaptable, and surrounding myself with people of good character and energy.
