Her Story

About Alexis

Alexis has been fascinated by the Hospitality industry since before her college years, where she received a taste of the event industry as a Party Clown in her teen years. This experience opened her eyes to the generally unknown complexity of the industry and prompted her to attend one of the best Hospitality programs available in Florida, the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Travel & Tourism in 2022.

While in school, Alexis participated in The Disney College Internship with the Walt Disney Company. She experienced working for other well know brands such as Marriott International and Four Seasons and learning what made them each some of the best in the world. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, Alexis joined the Hilton team, where she discovered her love for Revenue Management. Eager to expand her skills, she completed a Cornell Certificate of Hotel Revenue Management in 2023.

Currently a Revenue Analyst for Ocean Properties Hotels Resorts and Affiliates, Alexis assists with many hotels in the company's portfolio and continues to grow her skills. She loves the depth of the industry and looks forward to future advancements.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Advice I would share with young women entering the Hospitality industry - Be authentically yourself and let your curiosity lead you to your passion within the industry. Make space for yourself and other women in every room you walk into. And, always consider rejection as a redirection because you are one step closer to where you're meant to be.
