Alexis Mora
Alexis Mora has built a distinguished 12-year career in marketing, with a particular focus on the hemp, cannabis, and natural products industries. She began her professional journey at Good Solutions Group, managing cause marketing campaigns for high-profile brands such as Red Bull, Nesquik, and Tommy Bahama, connecting corporate initiatives to nonprofits and community-driven programs. In 2015, Alexis took a pivotal leap by joining Bloom Farms as employee number seven, helping to scale the brand nationally and globally. Over the next several years, she led multi-state operations, managed more than 100 product launches, and expanded Bloom Farms’ philanthropic initiatives, solidifying the company’s reputation as a top 10 brand while driving meaningful community impact.
Following Bloom Farms’ sale, Alexis joined State House Holdings as the company’s first marketing hire, where she grew the marketing department through three mergers and four brand acquisitions. Her leadership contributed to multiple Clio Awards for Best Brand Design, and she successfully increased in-house brand shelf capture and digital engagement. In 2022, Alexis led the national expansion of Flav, overseeing a comprehensive rebrand, product development, and marketing strategy from California to New York, earning recognition for creative excellence and market innovation. Along the way, she has established herself as a thought leader, appearing as a panelist for Adweek and contributing insights to the evolving retail and cannabis marketing landscape.
Three years ago, Alexis founded A.MORA Marketing, a boutique agency that reflects her personal commitment to brand storytelling and strategic growth. Specializing in natural products, hemp, and cannabis, A.MORA Marketing has grown entirely through referrals, allowing Alexis to build deeply personal partnerships with each client. Her approach integrates creative storytelling with data-driven strategies to connect products with their ideal audiences, ensuring every campaign reflects a brand’s DNA. Alexis attributes her success to mentorship, relationship-building, and a fearless willingness to embrace new opportunities, and she inspires others to approach their careers with openness, courage, and a focus on meaningful impact.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of mentorship, strong networking, and meaningful relationship-building. Throughout my career, I have learned a great deal through hands-on experience, staying open to learning in real time and adapting as situations evolve. I have also been willing to take calculated risks, especially when opportunities aligned with my long-term goals. Equally important has been being prepared—so that when the right opportunities arise, I am ready to step forward with confidence and clarity.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Mentorship has played a defining role in my journey. I have been fortunate to learn from individuals such as Erin Kinnelly and Debbie Christofferson, whose perspectives helped shape how I approach both leadership and growth. Over time, I have realized that no single piece of advice determines your path. What matters most is staying open, being willing to take risks, and having a clear understanding of your purpose, especially when building something of your own. That mindset has guided my work in entrepreneurship, where I have seen that lasting growth is built through relationships, referrals, and a strong reputation developed consistently over time.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is simple: do not let fear guide your decisions. I encourage young women to approach their careers with openness and courage, embracing opportunities even when the path is not fully clear. Growth often comes from learning as you go, asking questions, and staying curious. Instead of focusing on limitations, I believe it is far more valuable to focus on possibilities and take intentional steps toward them.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the primary challenges in the industry today is navigating ongoing regulatory changes, along with increasing market saturation, particularly within cannabis, hemp, and consumer packaged goods. At the same time, these challenges create meaningful opportunities. There is significant potential in building strong, differentiated brands, using data and analytics to better understand and connect with audiences, and expanding into broader markets. Additionally, the integration of artificial intelligence into marketing strategies is opening new doors for efficiency, personalization, and innovation.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me most are community impact, authenticity, and meaningful connection. I believe strongly in giving back and supporting others through mentorship, as well as building genuine relationships that extend beyond transactional interactions. In my work, I prioritize authenticity—ensuring that the brands and initiatives I am involved with are aligned with real purpose and integrity. These principles carry through into my personal life as well, shaping how I engage with others and contribute to the communities around me.
