Her Story

About Alexis

I've been in the banking industry for over 7 plus years with a background in research, remediation, and financial crimes. I started at Wells Fargo Executive Office and transitioned to U.S. Bank as a client relationship consultant. I won the Legends of Possible award in 2024 as a top performer in California after only 3 years there, and was honored as Volunteer of the Year for 2026 by Junior Achievement for teaching financial literacy classes in the Bay Area. I started this job on November 21st, my mother's birthday, which is very special to me.

Ten minutes with Alexis

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my parents for always telling me that I could do anything I put my heart to. I came from good family values and good roots. I always lead with intent and motivate others.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My mentor Will Jackson always pushes me to be the best, step outside the box, never give up, push it to the limit, go in rooms and always be myself and own the room.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Come in focused, come in ready to excel, believe in yourself no matter what. You can do all things that you've put your mind to. Never settle for less. If you want that position, go for that position. Recognition fades, but impact lasts.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is time management. You're trying to excel in your career and also find time to fine-tune and work on your development. I don't like to be stagnant and like to continue growing.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Morals are very important to me. Integrity is very important to me. Kindness, how you treat people. That's very important to me. Family.
