Her Story

About Alexis

Alexis Ranieri graduated from St. Joseph's University in May 2025 with a business administration degree and a minor in sales, earning a certificate of sales. She entered the software industry immediately after graduation and has spent the past year and two months in a business development role focused on sourcing deals and establishing relationships for her company. While she values the experience and stability this position has provided, Ranieri does not anticipate remaining in the role long term and is actively preparing for her next chapter as an entrepreneur. She is on track to complete her Integrative Health Practitioner certification within the next couple of months and intends to launch a consumer packaged goods company offering a beverage designed to nourish women, drawing from her personal commitment to holistic health and wellness. Ranieri emphasizes the importance of taking risks while young and staying authentic in both her professional and personal pursuits.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Taking risks while you're young. I have stability now with an income, but it's important to try different things. I've been in this role for a year, learned a bunch, and it taught me what I like and don't like. Taking risks doesn't come without experimenting.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Staying true to yourself is important. With social media there's non-stop comparison which can lead to losing yourself and being inauthentic. Being able to find some fire in you, passion and fire within you that really resonates with the things that you love and care about is one of the most important things. Authenticity at the end of the day.
