Her Story
About Alexis
I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare for a long time but the pharmaceutical industry was not on my radar initially. I went from working at Dick’s Sporting Goods when I was 19 to my first entry level tech role at Kroger. Eventually, I started to obtain more knowledge through retail and clinical pharmacy experience. I was fascinated by the way that medications can help heal humans. Now that I am on the operations side of it, I have the opportunity to see what all goes into providing services for the ill. This year, I successfully onboarded 37 vastly different types of projects and co-led four major projects. I have received several Legacy Awards from my company for demonstrating leadership, effective communication, and a positive attitude during a time when we had very high volume and a new member on our team that I was training simultaneously.
