About Alexis
Alexis Spratt is the owner of Giggles and Glue Creative, a mobile creative workshop that brings community together through events at bars, cafes, and restaurants throughout San Diego. Rooted in cultural awareness, suicide prevention, and community engagement, the business allows her to create curriculums for every age group based on her master's degree in social-emotional learning. Prior to starting her business, Spratt served as Director of Social Services for over seven reservations, where she oversaw four programs including Indian Child Social Services under ICWA laws, suicide prevention efforts, the Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Human Trafficking Unit, and the Club of the Kumeya Nation. A Native American professional with five years of experience in her field, she left her role to focus on applying to PhD programs, driven by a desire to give back to her community and demonstrate to others that hard work leads to achieving one's goals.
