Alice “Allie” Randazzo is a highly accomplished Ultrasound Supervisor at Riverside Healthcare, bringing more than 25 years of diagnostic medical sonography experience to her leadership role. Beginning her career as a general ultrasound technologist, she developed deep expertise across a wide range of specialties—including general, gynecological, obstetrics, high-risk OB, neonatal imaging, vascular, breast, musculoskeletal, small parts, and venous insufficiency. Over the years, Alice earned multiple advanced registries and became known not only for her clinical precision but also for her commitment to patient safety and compassionate care. Her leadership journey at Riverside culminated in her promotion to Supervisor of Ultrasound, where she now oversees a team of 20 employees and manages imaging operations across five facilities.

Much of Alice’s career has been shaped by her passion for education and mentorship. For 24 of her 25 years in the field, she has trained new technologists, guided students, and strengthened departmental standards through hands-on teaching and consistent quality oversight. Her experience as a traveling sonographer—working with obstetric patients in Arizona, Maryland, and beyond—expanded her clinical versatility. A personal experience with a high-risk pregnancy that resulted in a healthy delivery further deepened her dedication to obstetric imaging, influencing her approach to accuracy, empathy, and patient reassurance during sensitive exams.

In addition to her extensive clinical background, Alice has held roles in business management and medical billing, giving her a well-rounded perspective on healthcare operations. Her ability to transform underperforming departments, eliminate agency reliance, and build strong, cohesive teams reflects her natural leadership and operational insight. Today, along with supervising Riverside’s ultrasound division, Alice serves as a Lab Instructor at Joliet Junior College, continuing her long-standing commitment to developing the next generation of sonographers. She remains an active member of ARDMS and SDMS and values the recognition of her decades of dedication to the field—something she describes as especially meaningful when it comes from an objective, trusted source.
