Alicia (Keeter) Bithorn’s story is rooted in resilience, faith, and a lifelong commitment to hospitality. Raised in Branson, Missouri—a vibrant tourism town—she began working at a young age, spending nearly a decade at a local pizza restaurant where she developed a strong work ethic and a passion for serving others. She later attended the College of the Ozarks, a unique institution where students work to pay for their education. Balancing academics with 15 hours of weekly work in both a restaurant and a daycare, Alicia graduated debt-free. It was during this time that she met her mentor, Marty Waller, whose strength, compassion, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on Alicia’s life and continues to influence her today.

Following college, Alicia built a career centered on community and leadership, spending eight years with the Branson Parks and Recreation Department overseeing youth and adult sports programs, swim teams, and special events. She later stepped into a director of operations role at a ballpark before life took an unexpected turn. After welcoming her first child in 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic led to the loss of her jobs, forcing her to navigate uncertainty while growing her family. Determined to create a better future, she relocated to Florida in 2021 and transitioned into the property management and vacation rental industry, where she discovered a renewed sense of purpose. Today, she serves as a Market Manager at Besty AI, partnering with property management companies and short-term rental operators to implement innovative technology that enhances operations and guest experiences.

Alicia’s journey has also been shaped by profound personal challenges and unwavering faith. In July 2023, she gave her life to Jesus Christ—and just one day later, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Facing the battle with strength and perspective inspired in part by her late mentor, she emerged victorious and is now in remission. A devoted mother of two and proud pet owner, Alicia treasures time with her family and enjoys living just minutes from the beach in Florida. Guided by her favorite scripture, John 4:27, she leads her life with kindness, authenticity, and purpose. Her story is a testament to perseverance, faith, and the power of embracing every season with courage and grace.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Never burn a bridge. Because some... most of the time, those bridges come back to help you sometime later in life. They have... to me, tenfold.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be confident. Be yourself. There's nothing more beautiful than somebody who is their selves, and that they're confident. Don't act like something you're not. Just be yourself, and people naturally fall in love with it.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty and transparency - those two are hand-in-hand. Hard work, I mean, I've been a hard worker since I was 14. Live every day like it's your last. Be present. Just enjoy the day that you've been given, enjoy the day that you have, because it can all be gone tomorrow. And that's work life and personal.
