Her Story
About Alicia
Alicia Dieujuste is the Managing Director of DentiMax Software, Inc., where she has led the company's efforts to reimagine the dental software experience. She joined the organization in 2014 as Director of Training and advanced to Practice Management Director before assuming her current role in 2018. Today she oversees the marketing department as well as the development and quality assurance teams, supports sales proposals for multi-location practices, contributes to training materials, and partners with company owners on revenue strategy and product refinement.
Her expertise in the dental industry spans more than two decades. Alicia began her career in 2004 at a dental practice management consulting firm in Tucson, Arizona, where she built a strong foundation in the daily operations of dental offices. Without a formal degree, she built her expertise through hands-on experience, courses, seminars, and active participation in professional communities, including the Ascend Leadership Community, Ascend Sales and Business Development, DentWorkers Circle, and the Dr. DDS Group. She also operates A to Z Dental Services, a dental billing business she launched to help practices manage insurance claims and payments.
Alicia is also an entrepreneur and creative strategist. In 2026, she founded The Dentisphere, an online community where dental professionals can find events, join groups, connect with speakers, consultants, and coaches, and discover vendor products. She also hosts the podcast "Behind The Practice." Guided by her faith, integrity, and a commitment to learning from every setback, she encourages women entering the field to carry themselves with confidence and never shrink to fit the room.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Alicia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to determination and a constant desire to improve. I don't settle for "good enough," though I also recognize when something is close enough to move forward. I listen closely to my team and my customers, and I spend time inside our products and offerings. I think things through strategically rather than being transactional or simply checking items off a list.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I've received is to fail forward. I don't view failures as failures. I treat them as opportunities to learn, do better, and refine what I'm working on.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Act like you belong in the room, and never let social pressures make you feel less than or undeserving. Don't put yourself in a box to appease the room.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge and opportunity is getting people to perform tasks consistently and in the same way.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My relationship with God and Jesus is the foundation of my life. I value integrity and staying true to what feels right, and I focus on doing the next right thing.
