Q

What do you attribute your success to?

She attributes her success to having impactful role models growing up, family and friends she can count on, competitive drive, and passion to make an impact on others.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Embrace opportunities for growth, but don't forget to prioritize work-life balance and align your work with your values.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I advise young women entering the industry to embrace flexibility and adaptability, recognizing that career paths can change and that being open to new opportunities is essential for growth. Determine your personal productivity style, set your habits, and hold yourself accountable.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I’ve observed is the tendency to accept the status quo. Too often I hear, “we’ve always done it this way” or see people accept that “busy season” means months of excessive overtime and misery. The belief that “this is just how it is” holds firms back from real change. Another barrier is the lack of investment, whether in time, resources, or funding, needed to drive meaningful transformation. Even when firms do begin to change, many stop too soon. They celebrate quick wins but fail to carry the transformation through until it becomes part of the culture.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are respect, resilience, empowerment, and purpose. I try to treat people with respect so they always feel valued, lean on resilience when things get tough, and focus on empowering others to grow and succeed. And lastly I like to stay connected to a sense of purpose, making sure what I’m doing has meaning and impact.
