Alicia MacKenzie

Alicia MacKenzie is an experienced dental professional with over 12 years of dedicated service in oral health education and promotion for both adults and children. Known for delivering patient-focused care that meets the highest standards, Alicia brings a strong background in both clinical and administrative roles within the dental and public health sectors.
Currently serving as a Program Manager at Northampton Community College, Alicia has held progressive roles since 2018, beginning as a Program Coordinator. In her position, she oversees educational programming with a focus on health and wellness, combining her clinical expertise with a passion for community education.
Since 2018, she has also worked as a Freelance Adult Mental Health First Aid Trainer, providing comprehensive training sessions that empower individuals to recognize and respond to mental health crises. She collaborates with Mental Health First Aid USA to ensure compliance with international training standards.
Alicia's earlier career includes roles as a Registered Dental Hygienist and Treatment Coordinator with Jason Birnbaum DDS and as Office Manager and Dental Hygienist at Dental Health Associates, P.A. In these positions, she provided direct patient care, managed office operations, educated patients on oral hygiene, and maintained compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
She also gained valuable public health experience during her internship with the Eastcentral/Northeast Area Health Educational Center (AHEC), where she participated in outreach events, grant research, and public health initiatives aimed at promoting dental hygiene in underserved communities.
