About Alicia
She is an educator, grade level chair, and reading specialist with experience in classroom instruction, team leadership, budgeting, planning, and student support. She currently works at YesPrep Schools in Houston, where she manages grade-level planning, weekly team meetings, and classroom responsibilities. Her background includes reading specialist work with Palmdale School District, supervisory experience with Ross Stores, and youth STEM mentoring and site leadership with the National Society of Black Engineers. She holds a background in English language and literature.
