Ten minutes with Alicia

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to first God for His guidance and faithfulness throughout my journey, and to my husband, whose unwavering support and encouragement have continually challenged me to become the best version of myself.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I’ve learned that success doesn’t always come from having the perfect mentor. Sometimes it comes from being willing to work hard, take initiative, learn from every experience, and keep moving forward.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don’t give up. Floral design is both an art and a skill that takes time to develop. Be willing to learn, work hard, and take one challenge at a time. Every arrangement is an opportunity to improve, build confidence, and make a positive impact on someone’s life.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is working through product shortages and seasonal availability while creating designs that reflect each customer’s vision. The greatest opportunity is using my creativity to create floral arrangements that bring beauty, hope, and encouragement during some of life’s most meaningful moments.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my work and personal life are faith, integrity, hard work, kindness, and serving others with excellence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, proving exceptional customer service, and always striving to do my best.
