Alicia Mitchell

Alicia Mitchell is an educator and entrepreneur based in Dallas, Texas, with more than 8 years of experience spanning education and business. She founded Overcome the Challenge, an organization dedicated to advancing STEM education and social-emotional learning (SEL) through robotics, science, and digital programs. Mitchell has taught learners of all ages, from toddlers to teens and adults, emphasizing safe spaces for creativity, social awareness, and emotional regulation. As an African American woman in STEM, she advocates for greater representation of women and people of color in these fields. She recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration in May and is now pursuing a master's in business. Mitchell also hosts a podcast under the same name focused on self-improvement, personal growth, and exploring emotional topics to support others in understanding their feelings.
