About Alicia

Alicia Rivera is an executive chef, chef manager, supervisor, and student nutrition leader with expertise in production management, culinary operations, financial literacy, plant-forward cooking, baking, catering, teamwork, and food service. With 11 years at Aramark focusing on student nutrition, she creates menus that deliver nutritional value while ensuring compliance with USDA and TDA regulations across a district of 52 campuses. She visits school kitchens to support operations, organizes themed pop-up events and made-to-order meals, and handles catering for the district and other clients. Alicia began her culinary journey later in life, earning her culinary degree from Texas State Clinical College in 2017 and a bachelor's degree in business management from Tarleton University in 2018. She is certified in ProChef 2 and 3 through the Culinary Institute of America and holds the Certified Executive Pastry Chef credential from the American Culinary Federation, of which she is a member. In addition to her professional work, she mentors upcoming and young chefs to pass on her knowledge to the next generation.
