About Alisha
Alisha Brown is a driven entrepreneur and accounting professional. She started her commercial cleaning business in 2016 and continues to expand her skills by pursuing an accounting degree after earning a business management degree during the COVID pandemic. A numbers-oriented individual, Alisha balances her business ventures with family life as a mother of six. She attributes her success to her self-motivation, faith, and determination, having overcome challenges including postpartum depression. Alisha is committed to empowering and uplifting women and others facing difficulties. In addition to her professional pursuits, she founded the nonprofit Angels Unaware to provide meals to the homeless and volunteers with the athletic organization Georgia Force.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My drive comes from my determination and self-motivation. I didn't have the most support growing up, but I am self-motivated with my relationship with God. I've overcome postpartum depression and low points in mental health, and my faith and self-love keep me going. I want to live, empower, motivate, encourage and uplift women and anyone who feels life is too hard.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never give up. Sometimes there will be moments where you're tired, unsure, or it gets hard. Just keep going. You just never give up on yourself. Even with things like fitness, I'm always trying to stay in shape. Even when I have bad days, it just never stops. Just never stop. I don't care if you have a bad day, bad week, or bad month. Just never give up on your goals.
