About Alison
She is an education leadership, literacy instruction, school partnerships, and curriculum development professional with experience in instructional coaching, Science of Reading implementation, strategic planning, professional development, data-driven instruction, school operations, DEI initiatives, and district leadership. She currently serves as Manager of School Partnerships and Support at Children’s Literacy Initiative, helping schools build sustainable literacy systems and strengthen instructional leadership. Her background includes curriculum work with Passaic County Community College, consulting through AJA Consulting, and extensive leadership experience with the NYC Department of Education as deputy superintendent, principal, assistant principal, and teacher.
