Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to hard work, perseverance, and good fortune. Persistence and a strong work ethic open doors but it's also important to have the foresight and luck to choose the right ones to walk through.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that the people you work with is often more important than the job itself. Surrounding yourself with good, kind, and inspiring colleagues can elevate your work, shape your growth, and make every challenge more meaningful.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is work hard, put in the effort, and never undervalue yourself. Your skills, perspective, and contributions matter— advocate for yourself, trust your abilities, and pursue opportunities with confidence.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is finding ways to stay relevant and consistently applying critical-thinking skills in an era where AI is rapidly evolving. One of the greatest opportunities I have is the ability to interact daily with the future leaders of America—guiding, challenging, and supporting them as they grow into the professionals who will shape our world.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me—in both my work and personal life—are loyalty, a strong work ethic, integrity, and honesty. I also believe that maintaining a sense of humor is essential; it keeps perspective balanced and helps build meaningful, human connections.
