About Alix
Alix Hurley is a customer experience, growth, and revenue professional with a strong background in SaaS and B2B technology. She has spent over six years at Workato, progressing through growth-focused roles into Senior Customer Care. She began her tech career after graduating from UC Berkeley in 2014, working for about a year in enterprise sales at Oracle. Her background also includes event management, brand partnerships, marketing, and customer engagement through roles with professional sports organizations including the Golden State Warriors and Oakland Athletics, as well as sports broadcasting experience with NBC Bay Area. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from UC Berkeley with an emphasis in sports broadcasting and combines customer success, growth strategy, sales, marketing, and relationship management expertise.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My parents have always been wonderful influences. My mom is an entrepreneur who started her own business. My dad was my coach in sports and life, teaching me to play to win and have faith in myself.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't jump. Take time to reflect on your thoughts and where you really want to make the biggest impact instead of jumping into something impulsively as a fresh graduate.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be bold and be confident. Apply even if you don't meet all requirements. Play to win, take risks, network meaningfully. Your network is your net worth.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Staying up-to-date with all the current trends in AI as it accelerates so fast, not only within my company's product but in the greater AI landscape.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, faith living and working for a bigger purpose, health, and being an advocate for women thriving in all aspects of life including athletics, personal development, career, and mind body soul.
