Alka Ramchandani- Raj

I am an employment lawyer with extensive experience advising and defending employers in occupational safety and health, labor, and employment matters. As a shareholder at Littler, I focus on workplace safety and compliance, helping organizations prevent and manage injuries, inspections, catastrophic accidents, and complex litigation. I was part of Littler’s COVID-19 Task Force, developing strategies, policies, and programs to guide employers through unprecedented challenges.

Throughout my career, I’ve defended employers in OSHA investigations, ADA access matters, discrimination claims, and wrongful termination cases, while providing counsel on hiring, firing, leave, and accommodation decisions. In addition to practice, I have taught Mediation for Litigators at UC Berkeley Law School and served on the board of Narika, supporting South Asian domestic violence survivors through advocacy and empowerment programs.

I am passionate about helping organizations create safe, compliant, and fair workplaces while providing practical, strategic guidance that minimizes risk and fosters trust with employees.
