Her Interview

Ten minutes with Allie

01What do you attribute your success to?

My parents instilled in me the mindset of never giving up and being a hard worker. They taught me how to communicate with others and make them feel empowered. Every job experience has shaped me, and everything happens for a reason.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Always strive to never be the smartest person in the room. Surround yourself with people who are experts in different ways and think differently than you. One mentor said if you're scared of spiders you can't surround yourself with people who are also scared of spiders.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI has made things accessible but hard to protect brand, puts stress on marketers to do more with less, adds hurdle managing off-brand use. It's scary but also creates opportunities.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value open-minded and transparent people. I live by never wanting to be the smartest person in the room and surrounding myself with smarter, wiser people from different fields to keep growing.
