Her Interview

Ten minutes with Allison

01What do you attribute your success to?

My determination. I don't easily give up on things. And they're what keeps me going, honestly. Just a baby that I know. I've got to get something done. Once I have my sit on it, I've got to venture it. I've got to go for it, and I won't stop until it's done.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't ever give up, because someone might think you're good enough. If you believe in yourself, it always comes to par.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't let anyone dim your light. You can't let one's opinion stop you from what your dreams is. People are very discouraged, and they can't let them discourage them. One person's opinion might be the next person to encourage them to do what you're doing.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunities are being able to go to other cities and other states and show off the products. Doing vendor events. So many opportunities. It's been a vendor to even the smallest Cohort, or the smallest networking connection. It's just so you meet so many people.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value the respect that people have for me. That means a lot. I value all the people that are helpful. Some people don't like helping people. And all of the recent people that I've ran into they are so helpful, and I can't thank them enough. I value them.
