About Allison
I'm currently working at Emory Healthcare in data analytics and strategic planning, where I handle a wide range of data responsibilities. My work involves data cleaning, data manipulation, and data visualization using dashboard platforms like Power BI and Tableau. I also conduct ad hoc assessments and create data reporting and visualization that helps the organization make informed decisions. I just completed my doctorate in public health from Prairie View A&M University with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics, graduating in early May. I also hold a Master's in Health Informatics from Mercer University and a Bachelor's of Public Health from Georgia Southern University. Throughout my career, I've been committed to community health, having worked with the African American Health Center in Savannah, Georgia, where I conducted cooking classes for kids and computer classes for seniors while teaching various health initiatives. I'm currently working on publishing my dissertation, which examined the factors that contribute to individuals being at risk for another firearm re-injury after experiencing an initial firearm injury in Atlanta, Georgia.
