Ten minutes with Allison
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never stop learning. There's always more to learn and keep growing from it, especially in today's world with everything changing so quickly.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Bet on yourself. Just because somebody in your environment is saying it's not possible doesn't mean you have to believe them. Sometimes you need to change your environment to reach your potential, even if it's terrifying and unsettling.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Growth is exponential with unlimited people to connect with and a need for financial confidence throughout lifetime. Challenge is finding people, creating value, and getting in front of them, but the reward of helping them achieve goals is meaningful.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Commitment to learning every day and never stop learning. Building meaningful professional relationships which requires honesty, trust, and some degree of vulnerability. Willingness to advocate for yourself and long-term success, even if it means leaving environments not supporting your growth.
