Allison Roxanne Smith, MSPP, ACC, BCC

Allison Roxanne Smith, MSPP, ACC, BCC, is a Certified Life Coach, Identity Revivalist, and Financial Literacy Educator based in Atlanta, Georgia. With a passion for helping widows and divorcées rediscover their identity, Allison empowers women to rebuild their confidence and design fulfilling, purpose-driven lives. Drawing from her own journey of loss and renewal after the passing of her husband, she combines empathy, insight, and evidence-based coaching techniques to help others move forward with strength and clarity. Her approach focuses on reconnecting clients with their authentic selves while equipping them with the financial knowledge and emotional tools needed to thrive independently.
Before founding her coaching practice, Allison spent over four decades with State Farm Insurance, where she served as a leadership coach, classroom facilitator, and claims representative. Throughout her career, she developed a deep understanding of human behavior, communication, and personal growth, skills that now enrich her coaching work. She holds a Master of Science in Positive Psychology from Life University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Mercer University. In addition, she is both an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and a Board Certified Coach (BCC), and a member of the International Coaching Federation and the Institute of Coaching.
Allison’s mission is simple yet profound—to help women reclaim their voice, embrace their story, and reimagine what’s possible after life’s most difficult transitions. When she’s not coaching or speaking, she volunteers with the Georgia Radio Reading Service and Slow Food Atlanta. You can often find her exploring local trails or enjoying quiet walks around the city with her beloved dog, Will Robinson, always seeking inspiration in nature and connection.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the power of mindset, faith, and perseverance. My journey—from being a full-time caregiver to pursuing Positive Psychology at Life University—taught me the value of empathy and emotional healing, while coaching others, like my 82-year-old client who rediscovered her purpose, reminds me daily why I’m called to help people rebuild their lives with hope and confidence.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to give yourself permission to evolve—grieve, grow, and start anew—knowing that transformation takes time, but it’s never too late to rebuild your life with purpose and joy.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field right now are gaining visibility and effectively managing time, while the greatest opportunities lie in leveraging both to reach and impact more people with meaningful transformation.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in my work and personal life are empathy, resilience, and making a meaningful impact. Having experienced profound loss myself, I strive to help others heal, rediscover their identity, and move forward with hope and purpose.
