About Allison

Allison Zezulka serves as a correctional officer for the Hays County Sheriff's Office. She has been in this role for nearly three years, working the overnight shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Her interest in law enforcement stems from growing up around family members in the field, including her father who served as a police officer and later a detective. Allison plans to attend the academy within the next year or so to become a licensed peace officer, with the goal of starting patrol duties and promoting within five years. Her drive is further fueled by a personal experience in an abusive relationship, where persistent reporting led to an arrest thanks to one dedicated detective, inspiring her to want to help others in similar situations. Outside of work, Allison is an active mother of three young children and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family through camping, hiking, exploring, and swimming, as well as reading and writing. She is passionate about supporting domestic violence shelters and hopes to contribute to organizations like The Purple Door in Corpus Christi.
