Her Story
About Allyson
My expertise lies in demand generation. Building the strategies and systems that drive business growth, accelerate pipeline, and bring new customers through the door.
No two days look the same, and that's exactly how I like it. My work spans the full revenue ecosystem: partnering with sales on lead follow-up and conversion strategy, leading paid and ABM campaigns with external vendors, and collaborating cross-functionally on events and product marketing initiatives. At the center of all of it is one consistent focus. Making sure every campaign tells a compelling story and connects with our audience in a way that speaks directly to their challenges and makes the solution undeniable.
In my current role at Todyl, one of my most meaningful contributions has been closing the gap between marketing and sales. I've built a true partnership between both teams, aligning on process, messaging, and feedback so we're operating as one revenue organization rather than two separate functions.
The result is a high-performing, data-driven engine where lead generation, sales outreach, and pipeline feedback work in sync. By continuously refining our messaging, channels, and approach based on real sales data, we've created an environment where deals move faster, conversations are more meaningful, and average deal size has grown.
That alignment between marketing and sales isn't just a nice-to-have. It's a competitive advantage.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a relentless commitment to showing up and doing the work. I have never been someone who waits for things to happen. I go after what I want with intention, and I put in whatever it takes to get there.
I also have a deep belief that a closed door is rarely the end of the story. When I hit a wall, my instinct isn't to stop. It's to find another way. There is almost always an alternative path, and I have built a career on staying resourceful, staying persistent, and refusing to let obstacles become excuses.
Purpose and drive will only take you so far without the discipline to back them up. For me, success has always come down to one thing: do the work, trust the process, and keep going.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is that no one is going to open doors for you. You have to be the one knocking.
It sounds straightforward, but it took me a while to really internalize it. Early in my career I think a lot of us assume that if we do good work, the right opportunities will find us. But that is not really how it works. You have to be proactive, put yourself out there, and go after what you want even when it feels uncomfortable.
That advice has shaped how I approach my career. I do not wait for things to come to me. I go find them.
