Her Interview

Ten minutes with Almeta

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my family—siblings, loved ones, and even the foster kids I’ve mentored—who have always been my cheerleaders, as well as to my business partner, Sharron Sadler, whose confidence and “we are doing this” mindset pushed me to take bold steps in my career.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering this industry to stay true to their decisions and passions, remain genuine, and focus on meeting real needs rather than simply following trends.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are compassion, care, and resilience. My experiences as a lifetime caregiver, foster parent, and advocate for family and community have shaped my dedication to supporting others, inspiring initiatives like my app to reduce isolation for patients.
