About Althea
She is a distinguished global business leader with over 30 years of experience at Shure Incorporated, the world's leading manufacturer of microphones and audio electronics, where she has held progressively senior roles spanning customer service, global marketing and sales operations, corporate initiatives, and enterprise strategy. Currently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Initiatives, she leads the newly formed division focused on sustainability strategy, corporate social responsibility, corporate communications, program management efficiency, and business process optimization. In this capacity, she drives unified enterprise-wide strategic alignment with the company's priorities, enhancing decision-making and adaptability to market changes. She also serves as a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Advisor and is a member of Shure's DEI Executive Advisory Council. Prior to her current role, she served as Vice President and Associate Vice President of Corporate Initiatives, where she worked directly with the CEO to guide global DEI, sustainability, and program management efforts. Her extensive Shure career includes roles as AVP of Global Marketing & Sales Operations, Sr. Director of Operations, Director of Support Services for the Americas, and Manager of Global Customer Service. She also serves as a Director on the AVIXA Foundation Board, supporting the development of next-generation AV professionals, and is an elected member of the AVIXA Leadership Selection Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Grinnell College and a Graduate Certification in Sustainability and Well-being from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She is recognized as a transformational, people-centered leader who combines operational excellence with a deep commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and corporate responsibility.
