Alyssa M. Buchite is a Senior National Sales Recruiter II at Total Quality Logistics (TQL), where she leads nationwide recruiting initiatives for one of the largest privately owned third-party logistics companies in the United States. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, she specializes in identifying and recruiting competitive, high-performing sales professionals for TQL's growing network of offices across the country. Since joining the company in 2022, Alyssa has earned multiple promotions through progressively senior recruiting roles, reflecting her consistent performance, leadership, and commitment to building top-tier sales teams.
Before transitioning into logistics recruiting, Alyssa built a strong foundation in sales leadership and talent development at Arias Agencies, where she advanced from Producer to Supervising Agent and General Agent in the life insurance industry. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University, a background that complements her ability to evaluate motivation, resilience, and performance potential in candidates. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my determination, competitive drive, and strong work ethic. I believe consistent effort is what leads to results, especially in a volume-driven business.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is not to be discouraged by the fact that logistics has traditionally been male-dominated. Women can absolutely thrive here. Build a strong work ethic, stay competitive, and don't be afraid to go above and beyond to pursue your goals.
