About Alyssa
Alyssa Savin serves as General Manager at Vireo Rocky Mountain Health in Longmont, Colorado. With nine and a half years in the cannabis retail industry, she began her career as a retail associate and advanced through dedication in customer service and retail operations. In her role, she manages all aspects of the business, including assisting customers, cash handling, scheduling, inventory reports, KPI tracking, and business forecasting. A high school graduate, Savin credits her success to a strong support system, including her parents and managers who believed in her, especially as a single mother of two. She has volunteered for 14 years as a coach for Special Olympics Unified Softball. Savin values being a good person, reliability, and understanding in both her professional and personal life, and she advises young women entering the industry to keep going despite challenges.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My support system has been key to my success. As a single mom of two, I couldn't have grown my career without my parents and managers who believed in me.

Keep going even though it's a hard industry. You'll get there.

Being a good person, being reliable, and understanding are the most important values to me.
