01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Get in as early as you can. Life experience does account for a lot, but don't let your age or your background limit your choices in life, because you can grow and you can learn a lot, especially if you're ambitious and someone gives you an opportunity. Take the opportunity, because you never know what life is going to lead you to. Don't let your past, or what you think your limitations are, stop you from following a goal, or following a dream, or following something you could potentially prosper off of.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In emergency services specifically, everyone has the staffing shortages, everyone has the burnout. On a personal level, I'm trying to combat that kind of burnout, and also recognizing it in the people that surround me, and trying to help them work through it and offer insight or options or things that have helped me personally move past burnout.
