Amanda Adeli

Amanda serves as a senior litigation paralegal and case manager in the legal field, where she has accumulated over 8 years of progressive experience. She began her career performing clerical work as a law clerk and advanced to supporting multiple attorneys, including managing partners at boutique firms. While working full time, Amanda attended the Colleges of Law in a year-round program that allowed her to complete her Juris Doctorate in 3 years. Her daily responsibilities encompass legal and factual research, drafting and responding to discovery, fact-checking pleadings and motions, coordinating calendars and court deadlines, scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, and expert examinations, managing electronic filings, preparing trial war rooms, and handling post-judgment enforcement such as writs of execution. She also oversees law clerks when caseloads require delegation. Amanda's path into law was influenced by her Persian cultural background and her grandfather's emphasis on earning a doctorate, though she grew to love the problem-solving aspects of the profession, which align with her childhood interest in detective work. She recently completed the bar exam and is exploring her next steps, whether as an associate or in a supervisory capacity. Amanda advises aspiring legal professionals to gain substantial hands-on experience before finishing law school to build a practical advantage over those following a traditional path.
