About Amanda

With over 25 years of management experience, I have built a strong leadership foundation across diverse industries, beginning my career in retail management where I successfully led teams in multiple retail sectors. After my final retail position closed, I embraced a new challenge and transitioned into banking and financial services, where I have spent the past 9 years growing my expertise in leadership, operations, customer experience, and risk management.


In my current role, I lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while balancing business growth objectives with operational excellence and strong risk management practices. My day-to-day responsibilities involve real-time coaching, team observations, performance feedback, customer relationship management, and collaboration across multiple lines of business to drive results and deliver exceptional service. Thriving in fast-paced environments, I wear many hats and take pride in adapting quickly while supporting both team success and organizational goals.


Throughout my career, I have been passionate about developing people, creating strong customer-focused cultures, and leading with accountability and purpose. Over the past two years, I have been recognized as an MVP within my company—an honor awarded to the top 1,000 team members—celebrating outstanding performance, leadership, and contributions to the organization. This recognition included participation in an elite multi-day recognition event, reinforcing my commitment to excellence and continuous growth.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I believe my success comes from leading with a customer-centric mindset and consistently being there for my team. Those have been the two most important drivers of my growth. I always strive to put the customer first while remaining present, supportive, and engaged with my team members to help them succeed.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say to always keep your options open. You may have a plan, but you never know where life or your career path may take you. That’s very much how I ended up in the position I’m in today—I had a vision of what I thought my path would look like, but it led me in a different direction, and ultimately opened doors to opportunities I hadn’t expected.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest day-to-day challenges is balancing everything effectively. You may start each day with a plan, but it’s important to stay flexible and have multiple backup plans in place because you never know what unexpected challenges or priorities may arise.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I would say integrity, honesty, and a strong work ethic are the values that matter most to me. Integrity and honesty, in particular, are especially important in the field I’m in and serve as the foundation for everything I do.
